REGULATIONS

Compliance Hub – Your central data platform

One hub for every product compliance question.

Every new regulation requires new data from your supply chain. With the Substantio Compliance Hub, you turn every answer into a reusable data foundation — linked to the part, material and supplier.

AI-supported, via reviewed templates or JSON Upload

Ready for large supply chains and new requirements.

Query 100,000+ supplier parts at once

One central platform instead of isolated point solutions

Answers linked directly to the part, material and supplier

AI-supported, individually built or based on reviewed templates

The challenge

Every new regulation creates another supplier request

PPWR. ESG. DPP. CSRD. CSDDD. EUDR. REACH. RoHS. And many others…

The information exists – but not where it is needed in the long run:

at the part, the material and across the complete bill of materials. For many new topics, there are still no clear, structured processes for collecting the required data.

Use cases

One hub for all Product Compliance topics

The Compliance Hub is not limited to classic Material Compliance. You can capture almost any product- or supply-chain-related information in a structured way. And whenever new requirements emerge, you can build new queries directly in the system.

PPWR

Packaging category, packaging materials, recyclability and recycled content.

ESG

Sustainability data, policies, certificates, CO₂ information and further reporting data.

DPP

Product-related data for future Digital Product Passports.

Supplier Master Data

Locations, contact details, registrations, Code of Conduct and further master data.

Certificates

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, validity dates, document uploads and further evidence.

Product and Article Data

Technical properties, documents, evidence and article-related information.

Regulatory Requirements

With Substantio, you meet REACH, RoHS, TSCA and further Product Compliance requirements.

The solution

Substantio Compliance Hub brings structure to every supply chain question

With the Compliance Hub, you create structured questionnaires for almost any product compliance topic – AI-supported, individually built or based on reviewed templates.

You decide how to start:
Create with AI support
Describe your topic. The AI helps you create suitable questions directly in Substantio.
Build your own questionnaires
Create individual queries for your specific products, suppliers, materials or compliance topics.
Use reviewed templates
Start with prepared and legally reviewed templates for selected topics such as PPWR.

Stop asking into the unknown. Start asking with structure.

The difference

Every answer lands where it belongs

In the Compliance Hub, answers are not simply stored as files or buried in emails.

Every piece of information is linked directly to the relevant part, material or supplier. With every response, your own compliance data foundation grows.

Individual supplier answers become reusable compliance data

Your advantages

Ask once. Store with structure. Reuse again and aigain - for DPP, ESG reportings or PPWR - no limits.

The Compliance Hub does not just make Product Compliance easier. It makes your data more valuable. In addition to material data, our software helps you assess the availability of purchased parts, identify critical raw materials and make better decisions overall.

Data sources

Use data from multiple sources.

The Compliance Hub can also be connected to additional data sources – for example, existing product data, PLM or ERP systems, and external databases via interfaces.

This creates a central platform for product-related compliance data.

For your suppliers

Less effort. Clearer requests.

Your suppliers benefit from structured requests, too:

  • Instead of unclear emails or changing Excel templates, they receive clear, guided requests
  • This reduces follow-up questions, avoids duplicate work and improves the quality of your supplier data in the long run.
The stronger your data foundation becomes, the less you need to ask again.
Why Substantio Compliance Hub?

Because Product Compliance is a data challenge

Regulations change. Requirements grow. Customers ask for more detailed information.

With the Substantio Compliance Hub, you build the data foundation you need to keep up.

Build your compliance data foundation for everything that comes next

With the Substantio Compliance Hub, you do more than collect data. You create a central foundation for today’s and tomorrow’s Product Compliance – and at the same time, the basis for reliable future planning and clear decisions.

What is the Substantio Compliance Hub?

The Substantio Compliance Hub is a central data platform for capturing and managing product-related compliance data. Companies can use it to collect all kinds of supply chain information in a structured way, link it directly to parts, materials and suppliers, and reuse it for different requirements.

The Compliance Hub is used to centrally capture supplier data, material information, product data, certificates and regulatory evidence. Typical topics include regulatory requirements such as PPWR, ESG, DPP, CSRD, CBAM, CSDDD, EUDR and many other topics that are not already covered by standard REACH and RoHS queries.

The Compliance Hub makes it possible to build new queries directly in the system – AI-supported, individually or based on reviewed templates. This allows companies to collect supply chain data in a structured way, even when no established query processes exist yet for new requirements.

A central compliance data foundation prevents information from getting lost in emails, Excel sheets or individual departments. Every answer is stored where it is needed in the long run: at the part, the material, the supplier and the bill of materials.

This makes the data available for a wide range of analyses and reports. It also supports reliable future planning and sound strategic decisions.

The Compliance Hub stores answers in a structured and reusable way. If information is already available for a part, material or supplier, it does not have to be requested again for future requirements. This reduces the effort for both companies and suppliers.

Yes. Companies can create their own questionnaires and queries for specific products, suppliers, materials or compliance topics. In addition, the integrated AI supports the creation of suitable questions directly in Substantio.

Users can describe a topic, and the AI drafts a suitable questionnaire for possible supplier queries. The results can then be individually adapted.

Yes. The Compliance Hub can be connected to existing product data, PLM or ERP systems, as well as external databases. This allows information from different sources to be used in one central product compliance data platform.

Suppliers receive clear, structured and guided requests instead of unclear emails or changing Excel templates. This reduces follow-up questions, makes it easier to respond and improves the quality of the data provided.

The Compliance Hub is particularly suitable for manufacturers with complex products, many suppliers and growing product compliance requirements. It is especially relevant for companies that need supplier data multiple times – for example for Material Compliance, ESG, DPP, PPWR or customer requests.

The Compliance Hub creates a structured data foundation for reports, evidence and future regulatory requirements. Because the information is directly linked to parts, materials and suppliers, it can later be analyzed more precisely and used for reporting.
