New SVHC substances on the ECHA Candidate List

New SVHC substances on the ECHA Candidate List:

Octamethyltrisiloxane (CAS 107-51-7)
Flammable liquid, commonly used in cosmetics and cleaning products.
O,O,O-triphenyl phosphorothioate (TPPT) (CAS 597-82-0)
Highly toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects, often found in lubricants and greases.
Reaction mass of: triphenylthiophosphate and tert-butylated phenyl derivatives (CAS 192268-65-8)
Very toxic to aquatic life and suspected of harming fertility or unborn children. Used in hydraulic fluids and lubricants.
Perfluamine (CAS 338-83-0)
Toxic in contact with skin, harmful if swallowed, and causes serious eye irritation. Found in electronics and machinery manufacturing.
6-[(C10-C13)-alkyl-(branched, unsaturated)-2,5-dioxopyrrolidin-1-yl] hexanoic acid (CAS 2156592-54-8)
May harm fertility or unborn children. Commonly used in hydraulic fluids and metalworking fluids.

To check whether your products and components contain new hazardous substances, follow these steps:

Open the “Declaration Content Filter” field.
Select “Part” under Object Type.
Enter the CAS number of the hazardous substance under “Substances”, e.g., 107-51-7.
TIP: You can add more CAS numbers using the plus symbol and check all substances at once.
Confirm your selection with a double-click or by clicking the plus symbol.
In the new window, click “Search”.
